nexTC Corporation was founded in 2018 as a spinout from the NSF-funded Center for Sustainable Materials Chemistry and the Department of Chemistry at Oregon State University.
By providing high-performance, low-cost insulator and conductive oxide coatings to manufacturers in energy conversion, energy efficiency, and electronics markets, our coatings allow customers to dramatically reduce their manufacturing costs, grow their markets, and introduce new products.
Our innovations are fueled by basic research.
Our discoveries have led to state-of-the-art thin-film technologies — produced without high-vacuum methods. We have developed intricate knowledge and insights from our expertise in wet chemistry and applied them to the thin-film world. Our platform technologies find homes in markets including thin-film solar, smart windows, and electronics, among others.
